How to Search

Our search engine makes it easy to find what you're looking for. You can search by series, title, author or ISBN by choosing from the drop-down menu in the main navigation. To perform a search, click on the "Go" button.

  • Entering a title (e.g. At The Beach) - you can either enter the complete title or just one or more words from the title.
  • Entering an author (e.g. Eric Hill) - if you are looking for books by a particular author, you can search on that author's name.
  • Entering an ISBN: (e.g. 072324815X ) - if you already know the exact ISBN for the book you are looking for, enter this number in the search box. You don't need to include dash (-) signs. You can also browse the different subject areas of the site by using the subject menu on the left hand side of the site pages.
  • Entering a series name (e.g. Spot) - if you require a full listing of books that are part of a particular series, entering the series name will give you the results you require.
When using the Advanced Search you can also use keywords, publication date, or format.

Entering a keyword (e.g. Beach) - if you are looking for a book or books related to a particular subject, you can use the keyword search. The keyword search will also recognise title and author names.

Entering a format (e.g. paperback) - if you are looking for bath books, the format search will identify all Spot bath books.

You can enter one or more keywords using any combination of book title, series name, author's name, or subject area. If you use more than one keyword our search engine will restrict the results to books that each match all the keywords you enter.
